Our Core Supports are designed to provide practical, personalised assistance that helps you manage everyday activities, stay connected with your community and maintain greater independence.
Our experienced and compassionate support team works with you to understand your needs, preferences and goals, delivering support in a way that respects your choice and promotes confidence and wellbeing.
Assistance with Daily Life
We provide personalised support with everyday activities to help you live as independently as possible.
This may include:
- Personal care such as showering, dressing, eating and toileting
- Meal preparation and assistance with cooking
- Household tasks and cleaning
- Shopping and other everyday activities
- Support with routines and daily activities
- Assistance at home or in the community
Our support is tailored to your individual needs and delivered with dignity, respect and choice.
Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation
We can support you to participate in activities that are important to you and stay connected with your community.
This may include:
- Attending social and community events
- Joining clubs, groups and recreational activities
- Visiting friends and family
- Participating in community activities
- Developing confidence and social skills
- Exploring activities that match your interests and goals
Our team can provide the assistance you need to participate more confidently and independently in your community.
Transport
We can provide transport support to help you access activities and services in the community when transport support is included in your NDIS plan.
This may include assistance with travelling to:
- Medical and healthcare appointments
- Community activities and events
- Educational or training facilities
- Social activities
- Other approved activities and services
Transport supports are subject to the funding and arrangements included in your NDIS plan.
Consumables
Consumables are everyday items you may need because of your disability. Depending on your NDIS plan and individual needs, these may include:
- Continence products
- Low-cost assistive technology
- Everyday disability-related items
- Items that support personal care and independence
- Other eligible everyday products
The NDIS currently includes everyday disability-related items and some low-cost assistive technology under the Consumables category.
